Our story
A new-energy commercial-vehicle brand majority-owned by BAIC Foton Motor Group
CAVAN Auto (Chinese: 卡文汽车) is a dedicated new energy commercial vehicle brand under the BAIC Group. It was jointly established by Foton Motor alongside Bosch Venture Capital, Boyuan Capital, SinoHytec, and other enterprises. Built from the ground up on a purpose-designed electric platform, every Cavan van and truck is engineered purely for electric logistics, not adapted from a diesel legacy.
The result is a quiet, low-floor, easy-to-drive vehicle that handles the daily rigours of city and inter-city delivery with confidence. And now, with Foton's global expertise behind it, Cavan is bringing that proven capability to Australian operators.
